Use this script when callings your congress member:
My name is (you know) and I live in Congress member (you know) district. I am worried about the possibility of war with Iran, and the continuation of war with Iraq. I supports legislation to:
Promptly withdraw from Iraq
Not attack Iran without Congressional approval
Take good care of the troops, veterans and their families (this may be enough)
I want Congress member
(you know) to co-sponsor HR 508, HR 770, and two amendments to the supplemental
military appropriation that President Bush has requested for the wars in Iraq
and Afghanistan:
* an amendment barring an attack on Iran without Congressional approval
* an amendment proposed by Rep. Barbara Lee requiring that all funds for Iraq be
used for a complete withdrawal of US troops from Iraq by the end of 2007
I also support the Senator Webb's amendment to the supplemental funding bill.
